First up let me make it clear that if you are reading this without reading most of the previous books in this series you will be totally lost so this is NOT a starting point into the series. Alan Searle was born in the UK in 1948 and moved to the US in 1979 where he now lives with his wife. it's exactly I'm looking for. The first novel is terrific on its own but the new forward in which Childs discusses his style and inspiration is worth the price of admission all by itself. It was short - very short - and a little too much straight to the point.
